Down I-81, an exit you will find, with the number 279.

Enjoy the view, and be sure to take your time.

During his Valley Campaign General Sheridan visited

a farm that housed a vast red barn.

What once was a confederate supply line,

now produces regionally distinctive, fruity character wine.

Back in 76, the Randels planted 5000 vines,

knowing one day that they would make sweet wine.

Behind the winery the original French Hybrids grow,

when on your homage it's a place you must go.

On 26 acres of rolling hills that gently slope,

the Massanutten Mountain provides a shadow of hope.

Twelve varieties of grapes account for the stock,

all guaranteed to make your cork pop.

When in the valley many things you will find,

however be sure not to miss the Shenandoah wine!

Before you get your stamp, wine sampling is a must,

if you do not, the hostess behind the bar will make a fuss!
